Leechburg   Council and Mayor Race for 2025

Local elections are coming up in the next 45 days and local races of interests include Leechburg Borough with 4 council seats being up and only one incumbent running. Democrat Chuck Pascal is the lone incumbent on the ballot. Michelle Ferretti and Dina Blake are slated to be on the ballot from the primary election in May. That will mean there will be a need for a  write in candidate for the fourth spot. In addition  there is speculation that a fifth seat may also become available with a move from the borough by another council member. The  position of Mayor is also up for election. Current Mayor Doreen Smeal will be on the ballot as she won the primary on Democrat candidate. Local Republican voices indicate that a write in candidate may also be in the works.
